AVM is starting the roll-out of the FRITZ!OS 8.20 update with over 40 new features and improvements for FRITZ! devices. Roll-out begins today with an update for the FRITZ!Box 7590.

The FRITZ!Box manufacturer AVM commissioned the market and public opinion research institute YouGov to conduct a representative survey of over 3,000 participants on the use of internet routers in Germany.

At ANGA COM from 3 to 5 June in Cologne, AVM is showcasing new FRITZ!Box models for fibre optics and DSL as well as wide-reaching Mesh Wi-Fi.

AVM will be taking part in two important industry events for fibre optics: the FTTH Conference in Amsterdam from 25 to 27 March and fiberdays 25 in Frankfurt am Main on 2 and 3 April, where AVM will be presenting the latest FRITZ!Box fibre optic models and long-range Mesh Wi-Fi.

AVM presents the FRITZ!Box 4690, a powerful wireless router. The FRITZ!Box 4690 is easy to connect to an existing fibre optic modem or router and allows internet speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s.

True to our slogan “FRITZ! Connects”, at MWC 2025 from 3 to 6 March AVM will be showing the latest FRITZ! products for fast internet via 5G and fibre optics as well as long-range Mesh Wi-Fi.

With the FRITZ!Box 6860 5G, which is available from today, AVM is offering a state-of-the-art solution for fast mobile internet with a Wi-Fi hotspot and reliable telephony that can be used both indoors and outdoors.
