Setting the font size in your browser and operating system
Web browsers and operating systems offer helpful settings to change the contrast and font sizes so that it is easier to read text and see images in browser-based user interfaces, apps, documents, and on web pages. We have put together some useful tips and information for you here.
1 Adjusting the font size
Changing font sizes in a web browser
In Windows, press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + +, or in macOS the keyboard shortcut Cmd + + to quickly increase the font size in your web browser.
Permanently changing the font size in a web browser
You can permanently change the font sizes in your web browser under "Font size" or "Zoom" in the settings of the respective web browser.
Changing the font size on a smartphone or tablet
You can change the font size on your smartphone or tablet in the settings under "font size", "text size" or "display".
Setting the font size in the computer's operating system
You can set the font size of your computer in the settings of your operating system under "Ease of Access" in Windows, or select "Scaled" in MacOS, or set the scaling factor in Linux.
2 Increasing contrast
To improve readability with high contrast, you can enable the setting "increase contrast" or similar in the settings of your operating system or smartphone.
If you prefer dark mode, select "dark" in the settings of your operating system.
