FRITZ!Repeater reports "The web address entered for the remote site must be unique"

When you try to set up an IPSec VPN connection between two FRITZ! networks (LAN-LAN linkup) in the FRITZ!Repeater, the following error message is displayed:

"The web address entered for the remote site must be unique."

Web address of the remote site is already being used

When you set up a VPN connection between two FRITZ! networks (LAN-LAN linkup), no web address may be entered in the field "Web address of the remote site" that is already used for a different LAN-LAN linkup configured in the FRITZ!Repeater.

It does not matter whether the web address is a MyFRITZ! address, a DynDNS domain name or a fixed IP address.

Therefore, when setting up the VPN connection, make sure that you enter a web address for which no VPN connection has been set up yet in the FRITZ!Repeater, or delete the old VPN connection before setting up the new connection.
