Using a computer or other device in the FRITZ! home network

You can easily connect your computers, televisions, IP cameras, wireless speakers, and other network devices to the home network of the FRITZ!Repeater and then access the internet and other devices in the home network with it. To do so, simply proceed as described below. If you are using one of the following game consoles, proceed as described in the corresponding guide instead:

1 Configuring the device to automatically obtain IP settings

To ensure that the device always uses the correct IP settings, make sure that it automatically obtains its IP settings from the FRITZ!Repeater (this is the default setting for most devices):

  1. Configure the device to automatically obtain IP settings via DHCP.

2 Connecting the device with the home network

  1. Use either Wi-Fi or a network cable to connect the device to the home network.
