Constant restarts: LED on the FRITZ!Repeater flashes

The FRITZ!Repeater constantly restarts. When this happens, the LED flashes continuously. The FRITZ!Repeater user interface cannot be opened and either all or individual FRITZ!Repeater functions do not work properly.

Important:If the FRITZ!Repeater restarts occasionally, proceed as described in this guide.

Simply proceed as described below. After each measure, check whether the problem is solved.

1 Restarting the FRITZ!Repeater

  1. Unplug the FRITZ!Repeater for 5 minutes.

    Note:The FRITZ!Repeater settings are retained when you unplug it. After you plug the FRITZ!Repeater in again, it takes about 2 minutes for it to restart. During this time, you cannot access the FRITZ!Repeater.
