Configuring the push service

If you want, you can have the push service send you emails informing you about connection and usage data of your FRITZ!Mesh Set, such as registrations and deregistrations with the Wi-Fi guest access. If you ever forget the password of the FRITZ!Repeater, you can have the push service send you an email with an access link. In the FRITZ!Mesh the Mesh Master automatically transmits the account information to the Mesh Repeater.

Note:All instructions on configuration and settings given in this guide refer to the latest FRITZ!OS for the FRITZ!Repeater.

1 Configuring the push service

  1. Click on 'System' in the user interface of the FRITZ!Repeater (Mesh Master).
  2. Click on 'Push Service' in the 'System' menu.
  3. Click on the 'Configure Push Service' button and follow the wizard's instructions.

2 Enabling push services

After configuration, you can enable various push services that send you push service mails about certain events:

  1. Click on 'System' in the user interface of the FRITZ!Repeater.
  2. Click on 'Push Service' in the 'System' menu.
  3. Click the (Edit) button next to the push services you want to use.
  4. Enable the option 'Push service enabled' and configure the individual push services.
  5. Click on 'Apply' to save the settings.
