You can also operate the FRITZ!Box with a 12 V power adapter and use it in a caravan at a camping site, for example, or connect it to the onboard electrical network of a boat.

ATTENTION!The FRITZ!Box has only been tested with the model of power adapter included with delivery. AVM cannot guarantee that the FRITZ!Box will function with a different power adapter.

The FRITZ!Box is optimized for a DC input voltage of 12 V +- 10%, although DC input voltage of 10 V - 15 V may also be used. To ensure proper functioning, it is necessary to use surge protection (preferably with an automatic DC voltage regulator) and a separate fuse (2A).

A barrel connector measuring 5.5 mm (outside) / 2.5 mm (inside) is required for connecting it to the FRITZ!Box. The plug must have the following polarity: + core (inside) / - sheath (outside).
