FRITZ!Box reports: "The Wi-Fi module was not initialized correctly. Please disconnect the FRITZ!Box from power briefly and then restart the FRITZ!Box! (#0C01)"
The FRITZ!Box's WLAN LED flashes continuously. Wireless devices cannot establish a Wi-Fi connection to the FRITZ!Box and the following error message is displayed in the event log of the FRITZ!Box:
- "The Wi-Fi module was not initialized correctly. Please disconnect the FRITZ!Box from power briefly and then restart the FRITZ!Box! (#0C01)"
1 Solution in a future update
We are working on a solution and shall correct this behavior with a FRITZ!OS update for the FRITZ!Box as soon as possible. We cannot give you a release date for the update yet.
If you are leasing your FRITZ!Box from your cable provider, your cable provider will make the FRITZ!OS update available, and not AVM. It will be installed automatically.
2 Workaround
