FRITZ!Box: Supported fibre optic connections

With an SFP plug-in module, the FRITZ!Box can be adapted to AON and GPON fibre optic networks (fibre to the home, FTTH) which allows it to be used with virtually any fibre optic connection in Europe and establish internet connections of up to 1 Gbit/s (AON), 2.5 Gbit/s (GPON) or 10 Gbit/s (XGS-PON).

Important:The FRITZ!Box is available in several different product variants, each of which is delivered with different components. In Germany, the FRITZ!Box is sold in stores with SFP modules for AON and GPON fibre optic connections. Our sales team can provide you with information on FRITZ!Box models for specific fibre optic connections.
