Known issues

Issue:

The FRITZ!OS update fails with the message "An unspecified error occurred during the update. (5)".

Remedy:

• The specified file is no update file. It could be the fritzbox-*-lab*.zip file, which contains the lab update file.
• Unzip the downloaded ZIP archive before starting the update and select the lab update file from the unzipped files (FRITZ!Box-Lab-xxxx.image).

Issue:

Wi-Fi properties of the FRITZ!Box 7590 AX in Mesh Repeater mode

Remedy:

The following functional requirements apply to the new feature "Mesh Repeater Mode": In this operating mode, Wi-Fi connections to the Mesh Master (uplink) can be established with a maximum of Wi-Fi 5 (5 GHz) or Wi-Fi 4 (2.4 GHz). However, wireless devices can establish wireless connections to a FRITZ!Box 7590 AX in Mesh Repeater mode using all supported Wi-Fi standards including Wi-Fi 6 (WLAN AX).
