Compact Wi-Fi power for the wall socket: FRITZ! presents the FRITZ!Mesh Wi-Fi Set 1600

FRITZ! is expanding its portfolio of Mesh Wi-Fi Sets with an entry-level solution for the wall socket: the FRITZ!Mesh Wi-Fi Set 1600. The Set comprises two or three of the popular FRITZ!Repeater 1200 AX, supplying users of any router or fibre optic modem with high-range Wi-Fi coverage and all the advantages of the FRITZ! ecosystem. Once connected, the secure FRITZ!OS, flexible guest hotspots and free updates provide maximum convenience. The set of compact power-packs transmits with Wi-Fi 6 in dual band on 2.4 and 5 GHz. This enables Wi-Fi speeds of up to 3000 Mbit/s. The compact design for the wall outlet makes it easy to distribute maximum bandwidth throughout flats and homes of all sizes. The FRITZ!Mesh Wi-Fi Sets 1600 are now available to purchase.

Maximum compatibility – minimum effort

The FRITZ!Mesh Wi-Fi Set 1600 makes it possible to configure a FRITZ! home network on any router or fibre optic modem (ONT). The FRITZ!Repeater connected first via the MyFRITZ!App then works as the central control hub in the Mesh. On this device the Wi-Fi network name can be changed, Wi-Fi schedules configured, or a guest network set up. The MyFRITZ!App also offers an intelligent overview of all devices connected in the Mesh Wi-Fi. The set can also be operated as an extension of the Mesh Wi-Fi of a FRITZ!Box.

Best reception in every room

Thanks to the two versions, a '2-pack' and a '3-pack', the FRITZ!Mesh Wi-Fi Set 1600 adapts flexibly to flats and homes of various sizes. The two-pack is ideal for households with up to 4 rooms on 1 or 2 storeys. Users with larger homes or flats that have more than 4 rooms are supplied optimally with 3 repeaters to benefit from seamless, high-performance Wi-Fi coverage.
