10G fibre optic, DSL, Wi-Fi 7 – FRITZ! premieres at ANGA COM

At ANGA COM from 3 to 5 June in Cologne, AVM is showcasing new FRITZ!Box models for fibre optics and DSL as well as wide-reaching Mesh Wi-Fi. Three new models are premiering at the exhibition and congress: The FRITZ!Box 7630, a compact model for DSL with Wi-Fi 7, the FRITZ!Box 7632 with Wi-Fi 7 and support for fast G.fast connections, plus the new FRITZ!Box 4630. They round out AVM's portfolio of powerful wireless routers with Wi-Fi 7 for high Wi-Fi performance on any modem or router. For strong Wi-Fi in the garden and the patio, AVM is introducing the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor for the first time. In the protected outdoor area, it provides the Wi-Fi to the home network using a Power-over-Ethernet connection. As a European manufacturer, AVM knows the demands of the fibre optic networks with the AON, GPON and XGS-PON expansion stages, and offers FRITZ!Box models that are easy to deploy both on the network end as well as by the end customer and provide the highest performance. Connected directly to the fibre optic network, to the fibre optic modem (ONT) – providers can supply their customers with ultra-fast internet through the new models FRITZ!Box 5690, 5690 XGS, 5690 Pro, and the FRITZ!Box 4690. All of the FRITZ!Box models introduced at ANGA COM impress with the best interoperability in fibre optic and DSL networks. The high-end features including strong Wi-Fi according to the Wi-Fi 7 standard, fast VPN, versatile smart home functions, and telephony, offer users the highest convenience for many applications at home like surfing, gaming, and video conferences. 

The two new Wi-Fi 7 repeaters will also be presented in Cologne, the FRITZ!Repeater 1700 and FRITZ!Repeater 2700, which cooperate seamlessly with a FRITZ!Box or another router to bring the internet to every last corner of the home. Full range for many mobile devices and use on any internet modem, AVM is also showing its new Mesh Wi-Fi solutions, the FRITZ!Mesh Set 4200 and the FRITZ!Mesh Set 1600. At the AVM stand and in congress talks, the AVM team will elaborate on how a powerful CPE like the FRITZ!Box can help to fully exploit the benefits of FTTH and increase customer interest in fibre optics. The Berlin manufacturer will also demonstrate live to providers how customer service can be optimized with efficient, transparent Wi-Fi network management on basis of the User Service Platform (TR-369). The new always-on feature in the upcoming FRITZ!OS 8.20 will also be demonstrated at the stand. If the fibre optic, DSL or cable connection is unstable or drops, a FRITZ!Box connected via WAN/LAN establishes a fallback connection via the mobile network. This feature is ideal for anyone who depends upon a reliable internet connection. AVM will be showing all new features planned for FRITZ!OS 8.20 plus all new products at stand B20 in Hall 8 at ANGA COM.
